Prager Metis donates $120K to Alzheimer's Association

Top 100 firm Prager Metis has continued its partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association, donating over $120,000 in 2017 to the nonprofit.

Entering its second year of partnership, Prager Metis has a unique relationship to the nonprofit and its mission as co-managing partners Glenn Friedman and David Neste both lost fathers to the disease this past year.

“We knew from day one we wanted our firm to support a cause. The Alzheimer’s Association was a perfect fit and working with them has been an honor,” stated co-managing partner David Neste.

“Partnering with the Alzheimer’s Association has been incredible [with] our Prager Metis team members all coming together to bring us one step further to finding a cure to this disease. We look forward to what the future has in store,” said co-managing partner Glenn Friedman, per a statement.

Previous charitable endeavors by the firm benefiting the Alzheimer's Association included “The Longest Day” karaoke event last June, “Spin for a Cure,” and a Chess Exhibition. The firm also sent multiple teams this past fall to participate in the “Walk to End Alzheimer’s,” representing Manhattan, Long Island, Westchester, New Jersey, Los Angeles and Miami.
