Prager Metis Merges with Goldfinger Block Glickenhaus Dinar

Prager Metis CPAs LLC has merged with the Springfield, N.J.–based Goldfinger Block Glickenhaus Dinar LLP. The deal closed on July 1, 2013.

GBGD, which was founded in 1949,  provides accounting, auditing, bookkeeping and tax prep services for closely held companies, working directly with business owners in a variety of industries.

The GBGD employees will relocate to the Prager Metis offices in Basking Ridge, N.J., by the end of July. The combined firm will keep the Prager Metis name.

“We’re excited that this merger enables us to better serve our clients in the New Jersey market, and for the GBGD clients, joining forces establishes a deeper breath of support and services,” Lori Roth, COO of the Prager Metis office in Basking Ridge, N.J., said in a statement. “The merger provides more stability in a very competitive New Jersey market, so it’s a good move for both firms.”
