PricewaterhouseCoopers Admits 361 New Partners

   

New York (July 9, 2002) -- PricewaterhouseCoopers said it admitted 361 new partners to its member firms, bringing its total number of partners to roughly 9,400.
The new partner class includes 68 new partners in PwC Consulting, which has registered for an initial public offering to separate from PricewaterhouseCoopers this summer, 152 partners in Assurance and Business Advisory Services, 101 partners in Tax and Legal Services, 35 in Corporate Finance and Recovery, one new partner in Business Process Outsourcing and four partners in other service areas."We look forward to seeing these new partners work in unison across the world as we move toward a globally accepted set of accounting principles that cross borders for all companies in all countries," said chief executive officer Samuel A. DiPiazza Jr.
