PwC Acquires Benchmarking Concern

New York (March 6, 2003) -- Big Four firm PricewaterhouseCoopers acquired Santa Clara, Calif.-based Saratoga Institute, a human resources benchmarking company, from parent Spherion Corp.

Terms were not disclosed.

The newly acquired entity provides databases to assess program efficiencies and for competitive benchmarking processes.

Spherion said it sold its Saratoga unit because it did not align with the company’s core recruitment business.
