PwC Appoints Everson as Advisory Services Leader

Miles Everson has been selected as PwC’s U.S. Advisory Services Leader.

Everson will supervise more than 10,000 professionals focused on consulting, deals and forensics services. Everson succeeds Dana Mcilwain, PwC partner and vice chair, who has been promoted to the new position of PwC Services Leader.

“I am excited to have this opportunity to lead our Advisory practice at such a unique inflection point in time for today’s businesses.  Achieving growth in today’s complex, global business environment means having the right strategy to navigate risks, and also achieve and maintain competitive advantage,” Everson said in a statement.

Everson previously held a position on the firm’s U.S. Advisory leadership team as Advisory Financial Services Leader, and earlier as Advisory Banking & Capital Markets Sector co-leader.  He was also PwC’s Global Advisory Risk Consulting Leader, focused on helping large complex organizations with enterprise governance and risk management programs.  With over 25 years of professional services experience, he currently works with some of the largest organizations in the world.

“Miles has made significant contributions to the firm and its stakeholders during his long and distinguished career with PwC. He has held a variety of leadership roles and served some of our largest global clients,” Bob Moritz, PwC U.S. chairman and senior partner, said in a statement.  “The diversity of Miles’ leadership experiences makes him uniquely prepared to lead the Advisory practice as it continues to evolve to meet changing market demands.  We also extend deep appreciation to Dana for his tremendous contributions to our Advisory business over the years and his ability to mobilize our growing business to best serve the needs of our clients.”

Everson earned his B.S. in accounting from St. Cloud State University.
