PwC Consulting Names Frank Sowinski CFO

   

New York (June 7, 2002) -- PwC Consulting announced Thursday that it has appointed Frank S. Sowinski as its chief financial and administrative officer.Sowinski, 46, joins PwC Consulting from Dun & Bradstreet, where he held a variety of top posts in finance and marketing during his 18 years with them. His previous roles at D&B include senior vice president of the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation; president of the Dun & Bradstreet Operating Company; and chief financial officer and executive vice president of global marketing for the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation.

Reporting directly to the CEO, Mr. Sowinski will help guide PwC Consulting through its separation process from PricewaterhouseCoopers, establishing and managing all aspects of the company's global financial activities-including financial and managerial accounting, controls, accounting policy, treasury operations, and external reporting.

David Craig, who had served as PwC Consulting's CFO since June 2001, will continue to work with PwC Consulting's leadership team on financial and infrastructure matters.
