Regional Conn. Firms Announce Merger

Regional CPA and business consulting firm Kosovsky, Pratesi & Company, has merged in the local practice of Charles H. Flaum CPA, P.C. effective immediately.

Terms were not disclosed.

Going forward, the firm will operate under the brand Kosovsky, Pratesi & Co. with Flaum founder Charles H. Flaum becoming a partner.

"We saw, in the Charles H. Flaum, CPA practice, a great fit between our two firms as well as an opportunity to expand our geographical presence," said KP&C managing partner Edward E. Pratesi in a statement.

The 24-year-old KP&C has offices in Farmington, Middletown and Wallingford, Conn. The firm offers traditional accounting services in addition to exit strategies for closely held businesses; business valuation and litigation support; and investment services.
