Resnick Druckman Merges in Two NYC Firms

CPA and business advisory firm The Resnick Druckman Group has merged in New York-based practices, Sigmund Balaban & Co. and Gilbert, Wolff and Co., effective immediately.

As a result of the unions, TRDG will now have a total of 11 partners and 30 staff and will serve the New York metro area's middle market community.

Financial terms of either deal were not disclosed.

“These two firms have both built strong legacies in NYC based on their abilities to combine an in-depth understanding of their clients’ businesses with their perspectives as CPAs. In both instances, these firms have a solid reputation for providing their clients with tangible, bottom line advice,” said TRDG managing partner Jeffrey Resnick.

TRDG services such client industries as apparel, manufacturing and distribution, construction and real estate, health care and medical practices.

Accounting Transition Advisors, a merger and acquisition consulting firm, assisted in the Sigmund Balaban transaction.
