RIA Provides Disaster Recovery Plan

RIA, a provider of technology and tax and accounting information, has been working to implement a recovery plan for customers impacted by Hurricane Katrina.

The RIA plan focuses on providing its customers with continued access to the print, online and software products they rely on to ensure the continuity of their business in the face of disaster. The company will provide free access to Checkpoint, its Web-based tax and accounting research product, and all damaged or lost print publications will be replaced as needed, at no charge to customers.

RIA is also suspending or re-routing shipments of CD updates or print product supplements to the impacted areas. RIA is also providing its displaced CD-ROM customers with access to its GoSystem RS and InSource Express RS product, as needed through the remainder of the year.

RIA Information/Online customer service representatives are available to answer any questions related to customer accounts and to help customers who need to secure replacement products, provide updated contact information or confirm user IDs and passwords.
