Minneapolis (Dec. 18, 2003) — RSM McGladrey has expanded its presence in the South Florida market with the addition of professional services firm Bustamante Nunez & Co. into its fold.
Miami-based Bustamante Nunez & Co., which has adopted the RSM name, specializes in serving the financial institutions, auto dealerships, nonprofit industries and in international tax and wealth management services.
Under the deal, effective this month, Bustamante Nunez & Co.'s 19 employees joined RSM McGladrey's South Florida practice, giving the firm a combined total of four offices and 125 employees in the area. RSM McGladrey also has offices in West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Naples.
Firm partners Gabriel Bustamante and Javier Nunez joined RSM as managing directors.
Frank Compiani, managing director of RSM McGladrey's South Florida practice, said the deal accelerates RSM’s strategy to be the leader in providing advisory services to midsized businesses.
