Sage North America has appointed Ray Barlow vice president of accountant solutions, heading the accountant business in North America and working with Jennifer Warawa, global vice president of product marketing for the accountant market.

Barlow joins Sage from Intuit, where he led the accountant and advisor group. There, he was responsible for a team of strategic account managers, product specialists and inside account managers who provided products, programs and services for accountants.

"I'm excited to be part of the Sage team, working to support accounting professionals as they manage their firms and realize their aspirations," stated Barlow. "I look forward to bringing my experience in sales, business development, and building impactful accountant programs to the Sage business."

Barlow’s 20 years of experience in the accountant market includes the role of vice president of sales and marketing at CCH, Wolters Kluwer, and sales leadership positions at Thomson Reuters.

"Ray’s strong background in building significant business development strategies and his proven track record will be invaluable to Sage," stated Warawa. "His understanding of what accountants need to better run their firms will further help position Sage as a leader in the market. I can’t think of a better fit to take the Sage North American accountant business to the next level."
