Sage Software has extended its Business Partner Alliance program to encourage resellers and accountants to work together more closely.

The Business Partner Alliance consists of Sage Business Partners who work on a referral basis with members of Sage's Accountants' Network. Under the new program guidelines, members of the Business Partner Alliance will provide eight complimentary hours of accounting technology consulting services within a 12-month period to members of the Accountants' Network with whom Sage has aligned them. During that time, the business partners can illustrate the value of their consulting services and cultivate the relationship further.

Sage generally matches resellers and accountants according to factors such as geographic area. Sage's research shows that 71 percent of Sage Business Partner Alliance members have received customer referrals through Accountants' Network members.

The consulting services are available to Accountants' Network members who subscribe to Sage MAS ERP, Sage Businessworks, Sage FAS Fixed Assets, Sage Abra HRMS, Sage Timberline Office, Sage Master Builder, Sage Accpac ERP and Sage MIP Fund Accounting.
