Sage North America announced the release of Sage 50c, accounting software that combines the familiarity of the desktop-based solution with the anywhere, anytime access to data of a cloud-based solution.
The feature set and reporting capabilities of the desktop Sage 50 product are available in Sage 50c, but with the ability to automatically sync all data to the cloud, which also provides instant access to updates and changes. Sage 50c includes the new Sage Payment Center, an in-product dashboard for Sage 50 customers with a Sage Payment merchant account, enabling them to view payment information and perform payment activities.
“Sage 50c is the most convenient way to keep tabs on your company, no matter where you are,” stated Eva Schoenleitner, vice president product marketing at Sage. “We’re creating a new way of doing business by combining reliable desktop accounting software with cloud access with best-in-class accounting standards that will help you make more informed decisions and ensure accurate financials.”
Sage 50c’s payroll and payment services provide customers various ways to pay and the ability to quickly manage payroll and e-file taxes.
“We also kept accountants and bookkeepers top of mind while developing Sage 50c,” stated Schoenleitner. “Real-time access to their clients’ information over a secure online connection is not only more efficient, it’s also safer and more secure than exchanging USB thumb drives and trading emails.”
