SpeedTax has hired Jonathan Morgan, a former Sage Software sales executive, as director of sales at the Web-based sales tax software company.
In his new position, Morgan will be responsible for managing and developing the SpeedTax Business Partner channel, which includes technology consultants and resellers representing software vendors such as Sage, Microsoft, Intuit, Intacct and NetSuite, as well as a growing number of CPA firms. He will report directly to SpeedTaxs VP of sales, Anthony Zuanich. Morgan brings over 10 years of industry-specific experience to SpeedTax and was named Sage Regional Account Manager of the Year in 2006 and 2007.
Jonathans proven ability to work successfully with business partners to mutual business benefit made him the ideal candidate to lead our channel efforts, said SpeedTax CEO Anton Donde in a statement.
Morgan will work closely with SpeedTax business partners, including Blytheco, SWK Technologies, Arxis Technology, Forepoint USA, IncorTech, Martin & Associates, Terrell & Terrell CPAs, Axis Global Partners, KasTech Consulting and e2e Business Management Solutions. He is also expected to build new business partner relationships drawing on his many years at Sage Software.
