Sage Updates Act for 2009

Sage Software has released the latest version of its contact and customer management software, Act by Sage 2009 (11.0), improving the program's Microsoft Outlook integration, calendar and activity visibility, and database search features.

New features include the ability to select multiple Microsoft Outlook e-mails from different senders and attach them quickly to Act contacts. Users can create activities within Outlook e-mails and the contact and regarding subject line is pre-populated. Another feature allows users to copy an Act calendar to an Outlook calendar quickly from the main Act toolbar.

Improvements include the ability to search by only part of a name or title, and to switch between contact, group or company to modify a search without starting over. Users can now view the last several contact lookups by type, date, time stamp, and number of contacts in a query. They can also print an Act calendar with selected users, types, priorities and date ranges. Users can also see the progress of database synchronization according to the steps and time remaining.

Sage also announced that over 65 add-on products from various partners are available for the new version of Act. For more information, visit www.act.com.
