Financial information provider Sageworks Inc. announced the availability Tuesday of its ProfitCents business intelligence app for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch devices, giving subscribers access to financial ratios, industry averages and industry-specific key performance indicators and recommendations.
The data in ProfitCents is populated by thousands of accounting firms across North America and updated daily. Users can access industry averages for over 70 metrics in addition to industry-specific KPIs and recommendations.
The app is available for free through Apple’s App Store to ProfitCents customers with active accounts or a paid subscription, and requires iOS 4.2 or later.
“Sageworks has always been about making complex financial data accessible and understandable,” said Sageworks chief executive Brian Hamilton. “The addition of this app to our existing suite of financial analysis software means business owners and financial professionals have even more options for making important decisions quickly for their companies and clients.”
