SAP AG continues to target the small to midsized business market with the introduction of three new starter versions of its SAP Business ByDesign system, as well as the release of Feature Pack 2.5 for the system.

Feature Pack 2.5 for SAP Business ByDesign delivers real-time, in-memory analytics, support for mobile devices, a customizable user interface and increased flexibility.  The on-demand business management suite is now available in China, France, Germany, India, the United Kingdom and the United States.

“With the general availability of Feature Pack 2.5, we have achieved a major milestone,” said Peter Lorenz, executive vice president of SME solutions and corporate officer at SAP.  “We also expect the new starter packages to enable our customers to quickly adopt the services and realize immediate results on their path to an integrated on-demand suite.”
Starter packages for SAP Business ByDesign include predefined, focused subsets of the full SAP Business ByDesign suite and are available at fixed implementation prices, starting at $13,500.

Available for as few as 10 users, the three starter packages currently available include a customer relationship management package, an enterprise resource planning package and a professional service provider package.
