Schneider Downs Technology Advisors has developed Performance Evaluation Grid, a Web-based application aimed at enhancing a company’s performance evaluation process.
The program is designed to provide co-workers with the opportunity to evaluate peer performance in a variety of pre-established leadership traits. With PEG, all evaluations are conducted online via a secure server and can be completed by all participants at their convenience—similar to completing an online survey.
PEG was developed in response to Schneider Downs’ own need for a performance evaluation tool for its shareholders and managers, according to president and chief executive Raymond Buehler Jr.
“We needed a tool to evaluate each manager and shareholder on specific criteria, and in a format that wouldn’t be cumbersome to complete; the PEG has done just that,” said Buehler. “As we enter our third year using the product internally we’ve found it’s also very valuable to chart year-to-year progress and growth.”
PEG is part of inSITE, a Web-based application that has been primarily been focused on time and expense collection and document distribution.
