Seckendorf Hasson & Reilly LLP and its affiliate, LL Business Management Inc., have merged with Eliot H. Lebenhart CPA, to form a Long Island-based sports and entertainment accounting, tax and consulting firm.

The merger took effect Jan. 29, creating a combined firm with $3.7 million in annual fees. The combined organization will be known as Lebenhart, Seckendorf , Hasson & Reilly CPAs LLC, and will have offices in Lake Success, N.Y., and Los Angeles. Accounting Transition Advisors assisted in the transaction.

“Combining the accounting, tax and consulting services of these two firms accelerates our strategy of building a leading firm serving entertainers and related industry businesses, as well as our other middle-market and high-net-worth clients,” said partner Bruce Seckendorf in a statement. “Eliot has a long history of serving the needs of not only this specialized niche but his other clients as well.”

“While I am proud of our more than 25-year history as an independently operated CPA firm, I recognized that the next step for our organization was to merge with a firm of comparable quality that would enable us to expand services to our local, regional, national and international clients,” said Lebenhart.
