Serenic has updated its Serenic Navigator software with new features for managing financial grants.
Version 5.0 of the software, which runs with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, includes Serenic AwardVision, a tracking and monitoring system that allows users to manage the lifecycle of a grant. AwardVision is aimed at large, multinational organizations that receive federal or private funding for performing services in different countries and currencies.
It allows users to view financial information such as the total estimated award amount, sub-awards, actual expenditures, indirect costs and amount invoiced. The software also tracks compliance and monitoring information such as award terms and conditions, milestone activities and funding restrictions.
The latest version of Navigator integrates more tightly with Microsoft products through Outlook synchronization and the use of Word and Excel style sheets. New payroll features include a "create employee" wizard, error trapping in calculations, and journal displays.
