Sikich and Millikin Merge

Illinois accounting firms Sikich LLP and Millikin Benning Kleckler & Kobischka have combined forces.

MBK&K will operate under the Sikich name, but will retain its office in Rockford, Ill. The merger went into effect July 1.

CEO Jim Sikich said that the merger would allow his firm to expand its services. “The two firms are very compatible in terms of firm culture, philosophy and approach,” he said in a statement.

MBK&K partners Jim Millikin, Curt Kleckler and Brian Kobischka will join Sikich as partners. All 25 employees at Sikich will continue working at the Rockford office. Sikich has more than 250 employees and five offices in Illinois, Indiana and Missouri.

MBK&K provides accounting, tax, and business consulting services. Sikich offers accounting and tax services, operations and management consulting, entrepreneurial services, information technology products and services, investment banking, human resources services, marketing services, retirement planning and asset management services.
