Cloud-based document storage and sharing solution provider SmartVault has released SmartVault Version 3.2, which boasts a new, custom-branded document portal as well as paperless workflow features.
SmartVault works as an integrated plug-in for QuickBooks,but works on its own offering file storage and file sharing capabilities forall business documents. The company announced its latest version andenhancements here at the Sleeter Group's 2010 Accounting Solutions Conference.
With the custom branded portal, firms can specify adedicated Web address for their SmartVault portal, upload a company logo, andcustomize colors and links to consistently reinforce their brand identityacross all communication points. Other new and enhanced features in SmartVaultv3.2 include: a simplified files and folders view; document sharing workflowwhere users can email links to files and folders; and support of QuickBooks2011.
"In the last year, portals have taken the spotlightas a 'must have' capability for many professional services firms, primarily dueto the convenience the technology offers," said Eric Pulaski, founder andchief executive of SmartVault.
