SmartVault Partnership Creates Expense Report Workflow System

Cloud-based document management service SmartVault has partnered with expense report product maker SpringAhead to create an expense report workflow system and integration with Intuit’s QuickBooks.

SpringAhead’s expense report product Tallie will integrate with SmartVault and deliver the ability to sync expense source documents directly with the associated entry in QuickBooks within one central repository. The result is workflow automation from the point of expense to an audit-ready data storage system that is accessible directly from QuickBooks.

Tallie scans receipt information into a system that automatically categorizes expense information based on a company’s practices. It also reconciles with corporate credit cards and includes a host of management tools for policy compliance and analytics.

“Having a single system of record for financial data and all related source files means a firm is always audit-ready,” said SmartVault founder and chief executive Eric Pulaski. “Tallie adds tremendous additional value beyond data integration by distributing the onerous task of uploading source documents.”
