Pro Series upgrade
According to Accpac, the newest release of its Pro Series accounting system, Version 7.3, is the biggest upgrade in the line's history, and offers small and midsized businesses improved information reporting and increased user productivity at all levels. Among the 200 new features and enhancements are national accounts functionality in the Accounts Receivable module, a new Intercompany Transactions module, new data management features, enhanced manufacturing modules, multi-currency functionality, and an inventory forecasting wizard.
The user interface has been significantly enhanced, with improvements to filters, screens and reports that recognize the unique preferences of individual users. The new release also automates and streamlines the bank reconciliation process. Pro Series 7.3 comes in both Enterprise and Small Business Editions, and serves as a foundation for a selection of Accpac's integrated, "end-to-end" series of business management applications.

MMR Software has launched MiniPro, a software solution that extracts barcode data from Symbol Technology's CS-1504 personal barcode scanner and exports it to over 30 different formats.
