South Carolina Firm Merges in Sole Practitioner

WebsterRogers LLP, a firm with six offices in South Carolina, has announced that it will merge in Charleston, S.C.-based Moïse & Associates PC as of July 1.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

WebsterRogers operates offices in Florence, Myrtle Beach, Georgetown, Charleston, Litchfield and Sumter. The firm has 17 partners and more than 100 professional and support staff, and offers assurance, forensic accounting, business advisory, management consulting, health care consulting, mortgage broker, and employer services.

Robert Moïse, who founded his firm in 2004 and has a strong tax law background, will join the WebsterRogers Charleston office along with his two-member staff. Most of his clients are concentrated in the South Carolina cities of Charleston and Mt. Pleasant. "We will continue to provide professional tax and accounting services to our clients, and now will also be able to offer even more as a result of this merger," said Moïse, in a statement.

WebsterRogers managing partner Carroll Webster said that the deal will greatly enhance the firm's presence in Charleston, which is where WebsterRogers' newest office is located.
