SS&G Promotes Health Care Consultants

SS&G Healthcare Services, the health care services consulting arm of accounting firm SS&G, has promoted four of its professional staff members.

Deborah A. Parker was promoted to director. Parker has experience in managing and consulting on all aspects of physician practice operations, including human resources, staffing, accounts

Receivable and payable, budgeting, employee handbooks, office policies and procedures, performing fee analysis, and management of physician billing and collections. She currently manages and consults on all aspects of physician practice operations.

Jeffrey L. Bushong was promoted to associate director. He has more than 25 years of extensive health care operations, strategy, and finance experience in a variety of venues. Bushong provides operational, strategic and financial leadership to several health care organizations in areas such as performance improvement; acquisitions and divestitures; and strategic and business planning. He provides strategic, operational, and financial leadership to several health care organizations.

Tamiya L. Williams was promoted to practice manager. She has almost 10 years of health care experience, from working with patient accounts to billing management. Williams currently manages several types of medical practices such as neurology, dermatology, and physiatry. She oversees all daily operations, which includes staffing, managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, clinical operations, human resources, coding, and scheduling.

Patricia L. Clay was promoted to senior consultant. She has extensive experience working with both large and small private physician offices as well as with hospital-owned practices. Throughout her career, she has concentrated on practice management and revenue cycle management.
