SS&G Financial Services Inc. will acquire central Columbus firm Schwartz, Adelman & Yankovich CPAs Inc., in a deal effective Jan. 1.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

SS&G's Columbus office will now have a staff of more than 45 people offering accounting, auditing, tax, and consulting services to businesses and individuals throughout Central Ohio. SS&G will add principles Barry Adelman and Frank Yankovich as directors (partners), along with a dozen accountants and two administrative professionals. The practice will also take on clients, primarily small and midsized businesses operating in the private sector.

"The result is a more full-service organization with the depth of experience, breadth of expertise and the ability to thoroughly serve clients in this market."SS&G was ranked No. 57 on Accounting Today's 2005 Top 100 Firms list, with revenues of $31.6 million. The firm has five offices throughout Ohio and in northern Kentucky, and employs approximately 325 professionals.
