SWK Technologies Acquires Sage Accounts of IncorTech

Sage North America partner SWK Technologies Inc. has acquired the Sage accounts of Southern California-based Sage MAS 90, 200 and 500 reseller IncorTech, effectively adding nearly 150 clients and increasing its West Coast presence.

IncorTech president Steve Birdwell will be stepping away from the business, while his brother David, a senior consultant on Sage MAS 90, 200 and 500 (soon to be 100 and 500), joins three other SWK staff members based in Southern California.

“We are simply thrilled to have completed this transaction with SWK Technologies,” said Steve Birdwell. “We have worked with the SWK team for the past 10 years and have always been very impressed with the level of service they’ve provided to us and to our clients.”
SWK is also looking to expand its Sage ERP X3 business in the area, beginning with the existing client base.

“I want to work on our X3 practice anywhere I can, and this [deal] doesn’t interfere with the MAPADOC partners I have,” said SWK chief executive Jeffrey Roth. MAPADOC is SWK’s electronic document interchange offering for Sage ERP products.

“Our focus in Southern California will be to sell and support our MAPADOC integrated EDI solution and to market Sage ERP X3 to both former IncorTech customers, where suitable, and to prospects,” Roth added. “Our focus will be to work closely with our partners there to support our clients while collaborating on new deals that will benefit everyone.”
