Robert Kind has been appointed to the shareholder group at Teal, Becker & Chiaramonte CPAs PC.
Kind joined the firm in 1998, and has been partner for the last six years. He makes the 10th shareholder at the firm and at the age of 38, he is the youngest shareholder.
Leveraging his two decades of experience, Kind currently manages three core areas of the firm: accounting and auditing services, management advisory services, and tax services. In addition, he is responsible for several key client relationships in the construction contracting and real estate development industries. As shareholder, he will now also lead the construction services group. Other important clients in government, car dealerships, and professional organizations will continue to be managed by Kind.Al
“I feel a great sense of pride in being appointed to the shareholder group,” said Kind. “The current shareholders have been instrumental in driving our business forward and I am excited to contribute to the firm’s future success in my new role.”
“Rob’s dedication to our clients, employees, and business partners is a true testament to his ability to lead this Firm forward,” TBC’s managing partner James Drislane said in a statement. “We are fortunate to have him as a valuable member of our team for many years and the shareholder group is extremely pleased to have him reach this pivotal moment in his career.”
Kind is a graduate of Wagner College of Staten Island with a degree in business administration. After graduating from college, Kind chose to return to the Albany area to pursue a career in public accounting at TBC and follow in the footsteps of his father, Robert Kind, who is the firm’s former managing partner.
Kind is currently on the board of the Northeastern Subcontractors Association and has been an integral part of forming a Young Professionals group for the organization. Through the installation of the new group, Kind has helped second generation construction owners and young management-level employees become more active in the association by gaining exposure within the industry and the business community at large. Kind’s professional memberships also include the Eastern Contractors Association and the AICPA.
