Pamela Wickes, the director of forensic accounting at Teal, Becker & Chiaramonte, has been named to the Business Review’s 40 Under Forty Class of 2014.
The award honors forty Capital Region professionals under 40 years of age who are making a difference in their businesses and communities.
Wickes is the second TBC employee to receive this accolade. Stephanie (Bartkowiak) Mumford, a partner at the firm, was a recipient of the award in 2011.
This year’s class of 40 Under Forty honorees were selected from more than 500 nominations. As one of the 40 honorees selected by an advisory committee of business leaders, Wickes will be honored at a luncheon on May 15 at the Hilton Albany.
“I am very excited and appreciative of this recognition. Joining the ranks of the dynamic business leaders of the prior 40 Under Forty classes is a special privilege.” Wickes said in a statement. She also congratulates all her fellow honorees of the 2014 class and said she looks forward to sharing this memorable experience with them.
Wickes was brought on board to lead the forensic accounting division in the fall of 2012. She is a CPA and a Certified Fraud Examiner, who is also Certified in Financial Forensics and Accredited in Business Valuation.
With nearly 20 years of diversified experience in the areas of private and public accounting, Wickes has built a strong reputation for her skill set which includes various fraud and forensic accounting investigations, internal control consulting, asset tracing, economic damages, family law related services, business valuations, and other litigation support services. She provides consulting and expert witness services, including testimony, to assist attorneys and clients prior to and throughout lawsuits, as well as during settlement negotiations.
