THOMSON REUTERS LAUNCHES IMPLEMENTER PROGRAM

New York - Thompson Reuters has launched a Certified Implementer Program designed to allow accounting firms to expand their practices related to the its OneSource product offerings.

Grant Thornton was named the first official certified implementer of Thomson Reuters' OneSource corporate tax solutions. Grant Thornton's agreement with Thomson Reuters provides that any Grant Thornton International member firm is eligible to participate in the CIP.

Grant Thornton will initially be certified to implement two Thomson Reuters' products: OneSource Tax Provision and OneSource WorkFlow Manager.

MICROSOFT UNVEILS UPGRADES FOR DYNAMICS NAV

Microsoft recently unveiled Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2, which will include built-in integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and its Online Payment Service. It will be available in the fourth quarter of 2010. Additional features in Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 will include role-tailored interface access for remote or roaming users, and treemap visualization, which enables the comparison of any two values, such as sales and profits. MANAGEMENT REPORTER AVAILABLE FOR DYNAMICS

Redmond, Wash. - Microsoft has introduced a corporate performance management system for its Dynamics ERP products. Known as Management Reporter, the product will act as the replacement for Microsoft FRx.Management Reporter allows Dynamics ERP product users to create, generate, help secure and publish profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

FRx customers making the transition to Management Reporter can use a downloadable migration tool. Management Reporter is available for Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 customers at no additional cost and will be available with future releases of other Microsoft Dynamics ERP solutions.
