SAGE PARTNERS WITH MISYS

Woodstock, Vt. -- Sage North America has partnered with manufacturing resource planning systems maker MISys Inc. to create Sage Simply Accounting Manufacturing by MISys, a specialized manufacturing resource planning tool that integrates with Sage Simply Accounting. The tool includes functionality for raw materials inventory control, work-in-process tracking, multi-level bills of material, production work orders, and an array of advanced planning tools not previously available in Sage Simply Accounting -- soon to be known as Sage 50 Canadian Edition. MISys is the first fully endorsed partner of Sage Simply Accounting and has been an endorsed partner of Sage 50 U.S. Edition (formerly Sage Peachtree) since 2009.

 

COUGAR MOUNTAIN RELEASES CMS PROFESSIONAL 2013

Boise, Idaho -- Cougar Mountain Software released CMS Professional 2013, the latest version of its business and nonprofit accounting software. New features and enhancements in CMS Professional 2013 include a comparative balance sheet; electronic transmission of payroll check and direct deposit stubs; improved order entry and point-of-sale readability; enhanced AR history reporting; the ability to generate files for federal-only wage report electronic filing; an enhanced custom data query utility; a streamlined view of vendor balances; and the ability to verify sales integrity and monitor the transaction volume for each register.

 

FISHBOWL BRINGS INVENTORY MANAGEMENT TO THE CLOUD

Orem, Utah -- Inventory control software provider Fishbowl released Fishbowl Inventory 2012+ in early August, making some of the software's inventory features accessible for the first time from the cloud. Users can check inventory availability by using the Web-based Fishbowl Pipeline application on iPad, iPhone and Android devices. In addition, Fishbowl Inventory 2012+ includes multiple location tracking, auto purchase orders, and unlimited tracking types and custom fields. The software integrates with QuickBooks.
