SAGE NORTH AMERICA TO ACQUIRE PAYCHOICE
Irvine, Calif. -- Sage North America announced an agreement to acquire PayChoice, a privately held provider of payroll solutions for small and midsized businesses. Sage will extend its portfolio of offerings to provide SMB customers with online payroll solutions with integrated services.
FRESHBOOKS ADDS ONLINE PAYMENTS OFFERING
Toronto -- Cloud accounting solution provider FreshBooks announced that it has added its own online payments offering to the FreshBooks platform, enabling customers in the U.S. and Canada to set up and accept online payments. Users can securely accept credit cards online and view payment status within their FreshBooks dashboard.
ULTRATAX CS ADDS E-SIGNATURE
Dexter, Mich. -- Thomson Reuters announced that UltraTax CS will include an e-signature offering for the 2014 tax season, to be launched with the November release of the software. This latest version will allow clients to sign tax forms and other documents electronically from computer or mobile devices.
AUDITFILE GETS $3M IN FUNDING
San Francisco -- AuditFile, a cloud-based solution to help CPA firms perform more efficient engagements, raised $3 million in a round led by Banneker Partners. The investment will be used to refine the app and increase sales efforts.
ADP CREATES ADP MARKETPLACE FOR HCM SOLUTIONS
Roseland, N.J. -- ADP has created a cloud-based HR and workforce management marketplace. The ecosystem hosts applications from human capital management solutions (and payroll) provider ADP and other providers.
Spend management solutions providers Concur, GetHired and Globoforce have joined the ADP Marketplace. Other partners working with ADP to build the marketplace include Cornerstone OnDemand, LifeCare and PaySimple.
