SAGE OFFERS DUAL PLATFORM VERSIONS OF MAS 90/200

Irvine, Calif. - Sage North America unveiled the release of Sage ERP MAS 90 Online, a Sage-hosted version of its MAS 90 and 200 products, allowing channel partners to earn 25 percent margins on the subscription revenue for providing support, training and other services.

Sage also noted the new releases of the on-premise versions of its Sage MAS 90 and 200 application suites, bundled with the vendor's Sage CRM application.

SageCRM is available for iPhone and also allows companies to monitor and track customer communications on Twitter.

CEO: INTACCT BOUND FOR IPO

Las Vegas - Cloud financial management and accounting software provider Intacct has no intention of being purchased and is eyeing the public market for its next financial move, according to chief executive Robert Reid.

The CEO laid stake to the claim at Intacct Advantage 2011, its recent user and partner conference here, and admitted that despite being approached by "several" suitors for acquisition, the company and its board have no desire to sell.

Reid declined to reveal specific timing for an IPO but claimed the company currently has enough financing to take the company to the public market. The company raised an additional $12.3 million of venture capital financing from several firms back in June.

ADAPTIVE PLANNING UNVEILS NEW RELEASES

Mountain View, Calif. - Financial planning and reporting technology provider Adaptive Planning recently introduced its Fall 2011 and Winter 2012 releases, which feature new reporting capabilities, SaaS and enterprise collaboration features.

The new releases include enhanced reporting, specifically transaction reporting and analysis, integration with more customer relationship management and general ledger systems, and the ability to pull transaction-level details into a central database and create reports.

EXACT ENTERS THE CLOUD ERP ARENA

Middleton, Mass. - Manufacturing and distribution-focused enterprise resource planning software developer Exact has made available Exact Macola On Demand, the company's first cloud-based enterprise resource planning suite.

Exact said the new cloud offering comes with 20 ready-to-use modules, including customer relationship management, and boasts all of the features of its recently introduced Exact Macola Manufacturing Pro product. Exact Macola On Demand is designed to meet the needs of manufacturing professionals in many segments, including machinery, aerospace, automotive, electronics and general discrete manufacturing segments.

Macola On Demand users will have the ability to customize applications if desired, with no sharing of databases with other customers and use a mobile application for interacting with the system.
