FRESHBOOKS LAUNCHES NEW ACCOUNTANT CENTER

Toronto -- Cloud accounting vendor FreshBooks has launched its FreshBooks Accountant Center, which gives accountants a secure portal to access their clients' data and interact more closely with them. Accountants get a comprehensive view of client financial data, and the center allows them to run an unlimited number of reports on a variety of topics, including profit & loss, tax summaries and journal entries.

 

FILETHIS INTRODUCES PORTAL

Mill Valley, Calif. -- Digital mailbox service FileThis announced the availability of FileThis Document Portal for Professional Services, built to streamline the gathering, organizing and sharing of financial documents from clients for accountants and other tax and finance professionals. The service provides users with a new way to help clients organize their tax and financial documents through its automated and branded service, which fetches clients' financial documents from hundreds of financial institutions and organizes them in a digital filing cabinet.

 

ACCOUNTANTSWORLD REDESIGNS WEBSITE RELIEF

Hauppauge, N.Y. -- AccountantsWorld has redesigned Website Relief, the company's cloud-based software for helping accounting firms create Web sites and virtual offices. The new version offers a wider selection of professionally designed themes to allow accountants and firms to design and launch their own sites.

 

ACUMATICA UNVEILS 5.0 BETA

Denver -- Cloud business management software provider Acumatica unveiled its 5.0 beta release at its Partner Summit in late August, hosting more than 400 partners and customers. 5.0 includes a mobile development framework that partners can utilize to target customers through the mobile market without the need to hire specialists. In addition, it supports database management system MySQL and Amazon RDS. Acumatica also announced the availability of a beta payroll module, developed with partner PC Bennett.
