SAGE LAUNCHES SAGE VIEW
Las Vegas -- Sage North America announced the launch of Sage View, a cloud-based solution designed for accountants to see, understand and act on client data via key performance indicators and reports.
Sage View will offer KPIs that include profitability and cash flow, giving accountants the statistics they can contextualize into bigger client trends. Sage View automatically syncs desktop or cloud data, - including Sage One U.S. Edition and Sage 50 Accounting U.S. Edition.
XERO ANNOUNCES DASHBOARD, XEROCON 2015
Las Vegas -- Online accounting software provider Xero announced a new business performance dashboard that provides business owners and their advisors with real-time visibility into their business health and performance.
The company also announced its next Xerocon accounting conference, which will be its first since 2013; the event will take place in Denver, June 2-4, 2015.
Separately, the company announced that it had acquired Seattle-based online payroll company Monchilla for more than $4 million in cash and stock.
AVALARA PULLS $100 MN IN FUNDING ROUND
Bainbridge Island, Wash. -- Avalara, a provider of cloud-based software for sales tax and transactional tax compliance, announced that it had raised $100 million in a financing round from an affiliate of global private equity firm Warburg Pincus. Avalara has raised more than $200 million in capital since 2004, from investors including Sageview Capital and Battery Ventures.
CITRIX BUYS RIGHTSIGNATURE
Santa Clara, Calif. -- Citrix has completed its acquisition of RightSignature, the cloud-based electronic signature company that integrates with Citrix ShareFile. Citrix will extend its ShareFile product line to include e-signatures, allowing customers to automate processes and go paperless. The RightSignature team will join the Citrix organization immediately.
