Tempe, Ariz. (Oct. 30, 2003) -- Tectura, a Tempe, Ariz.-based reseller for Microsoft Business Solutions, plans to make acquisitions with $12 million in financing it recently received from venture capital firm Pequot Ventures of Westport, Conn.

Tectura chief executive Terry Petrzelka said the investment, combined with Microsoft's commitment to his company, will enable Tectura "to accelerate its national expansion as a dedicated Microsoft channel partner that delivers true business value to companies across the United States."

Tectura, an Accounting Today Technology Pacesetter company, reports having 180 employees and $36 million in 2003 revenues in the 2004 Technology Pacesetters report that is part of the newspaper's upcoming Nov. 24-Dec. 14, 2003 edition.

"Pequot Ventures is very excited about the opportunity to help fund the enhancement and build-out of Tectura's national organization," said Gerald Poch, managing general partner of Pequot Ventures. "Since its founding in 2001 and even during challenging economic times, Tectura's management team has grown revenues by over 560 percent."
