Sage North America value-added reseller Mindover Software has signed a merger agreement with another Sage VAR, San Antonio-based Network Services Inc.
Once finalized, the combined entity will retain the Mindover Software name and create a firm with over 200 clients in 10 states, as well as add 10 full-time employees in Mindover’s San Antonio, Dallas and Austin offices. Mindover is a Sage Accpac, MAS 90/200 and Sage CRM reseller, while NSI historically handled Sage MAS 90 and 200 as well as some CRM.
“There is very little overlap between the two firms, which is why the merger made so much sense from our perspective,” said Mindover president Lloyd Smith. “Our software-consulting expertise and geographical distribution are highly complementary. Apart from consolidating some routine activities like sales, marketing and HR, we really expect the merger to increase the amount of services and industry knowledge we offer our clients and prospects.”
According to Smith, Mindover Software has an even mix of clients with NSI in distribution, manufacturing and professional services. “While we have a healthy number of clients in San Antonio and the Valley, we have even more in Dallas-Fort Worth, Waco, east and west Texas, and nine other states,” he said. “The merger adds both geographic reach and ERP consulting expertise to the combined enterprise. We now have the ability to implement an even wider spectrum of software solutions utilizing applications from Sage as well as ones our software developers design to meet one-of-a-kind business requirements.”
