Consultant and author Gale Crosley is the 2014 recipient of The Advisory Board’s Hall of Fame Award in recognition of her significant contributions to the accounting profession, to be presented at the Winning Is Everything conference in January.

Crosley’s more than 35 years in the profession includes practicing CPA and senior management roles in the fields of business development, marketing and product development. As an owner of growth-based consulting firm Crosley+Co.  and published author, Crosley has also been recognized for numerous honors, including one of Accounting Today’s Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting for the eighth consecutive year and as one of the 10 Most Recommended Consultants by Inside Public Accounting.

“Gale has been a pillar in our profession and has influenced many, many CPA firms in terms of their strategic growth and direction,” said Allan Koltin, CEO of Koltin Consulting Group and partner in consultant coalition The Advisory Board, in a statement. “She has the unique ability to go into a firm and help them to uncover their growth potential and then to develop a plan for implementation. I can’t think of anyone more deserving of this award and am proud to welcome her into the Advisory Board Hall of Fame.”

Crosley joins a long list of notable past inductees, including 2013 recipient James Metzler of the American Institute of CPAs.

Rebecca Ryan, founder of Next Generation Consulting and fellow Advisory Board partner, stated, "Gale has contributed more to firms' organic growth than any other consultant in the industry.  Her strategies have been used by hundreds of firms, including mine. She's a true guru in this area."

Crosley will be honored during the Winning is Everything conference in Las Vegas Jan. 16, 2014. The conference is hosted by The Advisory Board, a partnership that, in addition to Koltin and Ryan, includes Boomer Consulting’s Gary Boomer and SS&G’s Gary Shamis.
