ITA elects new board of directors

The Information Technology Alliance, an independent membership association of mid-market technology professionals, consultants and product and service providers in North America, has elected its new board of directors.

Allen Smith, chief information officer at Baker Tilly, and Stacy Schuettler, president of LBMC Technology Solutions have been elected chair and vice-chair, respectively.

In their new roles, Smith and Schuettler will work with ITA board members Mark Severance, director of sales and marketing at Arxis Technology; April Blankenship, director of marketing at Altec; Stuart Tholen, a partner at Eide Bailly LLP; and David Emmer, chief information officer at Anchin, Block & Anchin LLP.

Stan Mork remains president of the alliance, and Lissa Johnsen vice president.

The new board will be introduced at the upcoming ITA Fall Collaborative, to be held December 3-5 in Salt Lake City.

“Our new slate of board members, including Allen and Stacy in their leadership roles, brings tremendous knowledge, experience, and perspectives to ITA governance,” said Mork in a statement. “I have great confidence, during this 20th year of ITA’s existence, that this well-represented board of directors will guide the organization deftly and responsibly into its next chapter.”

In April 2018, the ITA will celebrate its 20th anniversary.
