The Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters revealed a mobile version Thursday of its Accountant Resource Network, or ARNE, which is available now for Apple iOS and Android devices.
ARNE Mobile includes a variety features from the ARNE community forums, including the ability to browse and comment on the most recent ARNE forum activity, start a new discussion, mark posts as “read,” and the ability to search the forum for a particular thread. Future versions of ARNE Mobile will include access to blogs, articles, and other content.
“The mobile Web is having a profound impact on the profession, from helping practitioners be more efficient to un-tethering staff from the office and driving higher levels of client service,” said Scott Fleszar, vice president of strategic marketing at the Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters. “ARNE Mobile is our latest mobile app, providing practitioners with on-the-go access to the ARNE online community.”
ARNE Mobile is downloadable at no cost from the Android Market and the Apple App Store.
