Thomson Reuters has introduced a bundled subscription package of its Checkpoint Learning accounting, tax and finance courses.
The bundled subscription packages help accountants to manage their certification requirements. The packages provide small and midsized accounting firms and sole practitioners a fullrange of Checkpoint Learning course formats, including tools to automatically track certification requirements from 100 regulators.
“CPAs face changes in requirements for continuing professional education,” said Ken Koskay, vice president of learning products at Thomson Reuters. “About a dozen states have made significant changes to their CPE regulations in 2010, with several states expected to introduce more of their own legislation later this year. Also, bundled subscriptions are more cost-effective than choosing one course at a time or using multiple vendors.”
Accounting, tax and finance professionals can select from three new options: the Compliance CPE Package, the Professional CPE Package, and the Premier CPE Package.
The Premier CPE Package incorporates online courses and tools with live seminars and conferences into bundled subscriptions. All of the delivery formats provide online and downloadable self-study courses with audio, video, and interactive exercises; print-based self-study courses with online grading; Webinars; and discounts on Gear Up and AuditWatch branded instructor-led seminars and conferences
They also include automatic CPE compliance tracking and monitoring for all 50 states with electronic alerts, allowing professionals to always knows which CPE they have completed, what requirements remain to be met, and when they are due. Thomson Reuters is also providing integration between courses and certification management software for easy workflow of the certification process. Additional integration with Thomson Reuters award-winning Checkpoint research platform and the ONESOURCE platform
