Thomson Reuters Expands Brazil Support in Sabrix

The Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters has released the latest version of its Sabrix Application Suite of global tax software, with added support for transaction taxes in Brazil.

Sabrix has offered Brazilian tax support since 2002 with features such as jurisdiction determination; registration validation; and up-to-date rates, rules, and content for product taxability at the country, state and municipal levels.

The latest version includes a new tax calculation method for inclusive tax for even broader support of global taxation laws; enhanced calculation methods for tax on product amount (Brazil only) and ISS (Brazil only); single sign-on functionality that allows companies to use a third-party system so that users only have to enter their credentials once in their network environment to gain access to Sabrix; and two new tax types that provide more explicit identification for “Not liable” tax results for transactions associated with the European Union and other countries where the value-added tax is applicable.

Pricing for Sabrix Application Suite, Version 5.1.3, starts at $35,000. For more information, visit http://www.sabrix.com/enterprise/.
