Thomson Reuters Offers Web-Based Property Tax Software

The Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters has released a browser-based version of its property tax software.

ONESOURCE Property Tax software version 9.4.02 offers workflow processing through a Web-based user interface. The latest version of ONESOURCE Property Tax aims to help property tax professionals manage tax compliance.Among other enhancements, a new tax center will offer a tax manager browser interface that provides updates with no downloads and access to all data, including bills, assessments, real estate, personal property and returns. The Silverlight-based interface now covers tax bills and assessments for real and personal property.

The software includes optimized views and sorting for data retrieval in the asset manager. The tax manager integrates with the asset manager, allowing for the processing and retrieval of returns directly from account detail screens in the tax manager.

An overview screen displays multiple years of valuation and tax history for any parcel or property.

Graphs display the valuation of property through each stage of the assessment process—from projected, to rendered, to initial through final values.

Multi-tasking features enable tax bill and accounts payable information to be entered simultaneously on the tax bill screen. In addition, multiple notice types can be entered in a single screen.

ONESOURCE Property Tax resides on Thomson Reuters’ ONESOURCE online system for corporate tax professionals. Users can access ONESOURCE Property Tax gadgets, functions and information through a single-sign-on. Licensed users can also access other Thomson Reuters corporate tax services (such as Checkpoint, ONESOURCE WorkFlow Manager, and ONESOURCE Income Tax), through the single sign-on.
