Thomson Reuters Updates Indirect Tax Software

The Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters has released an upgraded version of the business intelligence reporting component of its indirect tax system.

Supporting global indirect tax compliance, reconciliation, and data analysis needs, the system allows companies to create or customize reports, incorporating data from external sources to meet their business process needs.

The reporting module provides finance and tax professionals with the ability to delve into audit and return data for a granular view into transaction tax details as well as access to analytic tools.

Available as an add-on module to the ONESOURCE Indirect Tax global software suite, new features in the reporting software include customizable views of data with the ability to drill down into the audit detail; the ability to leverage external data sources for views of data to address the specific needs of companies; analysis tools for decision-making; and a library of common reports, such as transaction extract reports, reconciliation, returns preparation, exception, and sales and use tax, goods and services tax, provincial sales tax, Quebec sales tax, and value-added tax reports.
