TPS Software releases cloud-based practice management software

TPS Software has released the third generation of its practice management software, but this time, it’s in the cloud.

Over the past two years, the Canadian accounting software company has been developing TPS Cloud Axis in response to demand from its customers. Indeed while the cloud may seem like old news to some, there are many accountants still using desktop or paper-based systems for myriad reasons, one of which being the particular features at the particular price point they need are as yet not available in the cloud. The new product from TPS Software is an effort to bridge that gap for their customers.

“TPS Cloud Axis was created in response to our clients,” said Ted Shandro, president at TPS Software Inc., in a statement. “During the past four years we have been surveying our clients to determine when they felt they would be ready for a move to the cloud, and two years ago enough told us they would be ready in the immediate future that we began the development.”

TPS Cloud Axis was announced in four versions: StartUp, Entrepreneur, Pro and Enterprise. StartUp, a free time and billing version designed for new sole practitioners, was released initially two weeks ago and has already garnered a number of new subscriptions, according to the company. Entrepreneur and Pro will be made available within the next three weeks, and the Enterprise tier will be released at a later date.

Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, TPS Software provides its time and billing and practice management products throughout North America. For more information, visit https://tpssoftware.com/.
