UAHC Leaves KPMG for Follmer Rudzewicz

Detroit (March 6, 2003)-- Health-care services provider United American Healthcare Corp. has released KPMG as its auditor after five years of service, opting for the more economical Detroit-based Follmer Rudzewicz PLC.

The decision to change auditors, made by the company's finance and audit committee, was the result of a competitive bidding process involving several accounting firms and was not due to any disagreement between the company and KPMG on any matter of accounting principles or practices, financial statement disclosure, or auditing scope or procedure, according to a company statement.

UAHC CEO William Brooks clarified the statement, adding, "Changes in our business have decreased the auditing scope and we are confident that Follmer Rudzewicz will capably meet our independent auditor requirements."

Follmer Rudzewicz will perform the audit of UAHC’s consolidated financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2003.
