UHY Advisors has expanded its international tax practice by acquiring Byrne International LLC.
As part of the deal, which took effect last month, international tax expert Christopher J. Byrne is joining UHY as a managing director, along with four staff members, in UHY Advisors’ New York office.
He has practiced international taxation and cross-border estate planning for over 20 years. His team includes Bella Litchev, Rhona Merkur, Leo Gabovich and Matthew Maroney.

Given the increased attention to offshore accounts, and volatility in the world of global commerce, we believe the timing of this acquisition could not have been better.”
UHY Advisors, based in Chicago, ranked 33rd on Accounting Today’s 2016 list of the Top 100 Firms, with $113.7 million in annual revenue.
