UHY Hires Two Down South

UHY Advisors GA has appointed Frank J. Fennello as the firm’s new managing director in the Southeast office in Atlanta, and the firm’s Texas unit has hired a senior manager in its Enterprise Risk Advisory Services department.

Fenello has more than 20 years of professional consulting and leadership experience in the finance, audit, and related project services industry.

Vinson, managing director of UHY Advisors' Southeast office. "For UHY Advisors, Frank effectively creates a project solutions capability that complements our consulting capabilities to meet specifically the evolving needs of both Fortune 1000 and middle market clients."

Fenello, 41, of Dunwoody, Ga., is the former president of MDI Group's Finance & Accounting division. He worked previously in business process reengineering and enterprise resource planning system implementations with Deloitte. He also served as team lead on several ERP implementations, including an international implementation of PeopleSoft for a German software company. Other ERP implementations include JDE, Solomon, Oracle & Vastera.

The firm’s Houston office also announced this week that Janet Smith Sanov was recently hired as a senior manager at the professional services firm of UHY Advisors TX in the Enterprise Risk Advisory Services department. In her new position, Smith Sanov will be responsible for client services for internal audit, internal controls consulting, Sarbanes-Oxley and other related services.

Prior to joining UHY Advisors full-time, Smith Sanov worked as a contractor for the firm for seven years. She also worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
