INTACCT ENHANCES ACCOUNTANTS PROGRAM

New York -- Intacct has revamped its pricing and added several updates to its Accountants Program, all of which are designed to make it simpler and more compelling for accountants to join. The Intacct Accountants Program, delivered in partnership by Intacct and American Institute of CPAs technology subsidiary CPA2Biz, reportedly added more than 75 new firms in 2012, which include a mix of small and large firms.

 

SIKICH EXPANDS TECHNOLOGY SPECIALTIES WITH MERGER

Naperville, Ill. -- Sikich has merged with Plainfield, Ill.-based technology advisory firm S2 Consulting Inc., enhancing its current offerings to include specialized experience in customizing tech solutions with a focus on electronic data interchange. Specifically, the deal will grant Sikich's clients access to a broader range of offerings to improve organizational operations, including those focused on logistics, inventory control, barcode scanning, UPS system integration, e-commerce and EDI interfaces.

 

ARMANINO'S ADDITION HELPS GROW CRM PRACTICE

San Ramon, Calif. -- Armanino (until recently Armanino McKenna) has merged with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and SharePoint consulting services company Gradient Vision, in a move to strengthen its own Dynamics CRM. Joining Armanino is Gradient Vision founder Rajya Bhaiya, who recently co-authored of a series of books on Dynamics CRM titled Microsoft Dynamics CRM Unleashed and Microsoft Dynamics CRM Integration Unleashed.

 

SWK TECHNOLOGIES ACQUIRES TEXAS SAGE BUSINESS PARTNER

Livingston, N.J. -- Sage North America and NetSuite partner SWK Technologies has acquired the Sage business partner accounts of Dallas-based Point Solutions, retaining several personnel and approximately 20 accounts. The deal itself provides SWK with a local presence in Texas, but also adds in Point Solutions' Sage 100 and 500 business, and allows for expansion of SWK's ERP X3 business.
